A police officer participates in paying 10,000 dirhams for a humanitarian case

Al Hammadi told Emirates Today that he did not expect the man to talk about the incident, especially since he was required to keep the matter a secret between them, explaining that he was assigned by the Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, and the Director of the Al Rashidiya Center, Brigadier Saeed. The court immediately imposed a fine of 10,000 dirhams or imprisonment for a period of approximately 100 days, indicating that he only had 100 dirhams.

Al-Hammadi continued that the man could not control himself during the conversation and cried bitterly, when he mentioned that he had turned to his family and friends to help him, but all roads were closed in his face, and he does not know what to do, especially since his wife will be imprisoned because of his failure to manage his company registered in his wife’s name, and he also has An infant (seven months old), and there is no one to care for him except his wife.

Al-Hammadi said, “I could not bear to see a man crying, as this is a reflection of a state of true oppression, so I excused myself from him for a few minutes, and went to the director of the center and told him the story, and under clear instructions and follow-up from Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al-Mansouri, regarding the necessity of providing assistance to difficult humanitarian cases in financial issues, we participated in the The amount was paid, I paid the fine owed to the woman, and brought him a payment certificate.”

He added, “The man could not control himself when I did that and cried again, but from joy this time. So I asked him to keep what happened a secret between us and refused to give him my phone number, until I was surprised that he told what happened, as a matter of appreciation, but I consider this our duty in… A country in which we see our leaders making a huge effort to help entire countries and peoples, so what we do in helping an individual in need represents nothing compared to what these people are making.”
