Dubai Police recommended the inclusion of more than 100 new compounds in the table of narcotic drugs, after examining them and ensuring that they have the same effect on certain types of drugs.

He added that the materials are known as the processed drugs, and contain the effect of certain types of included drugs that target specific reception areas within the human brain, pointing out that their manufacturers are trying to circumvent the law, by manipulating the installation of prohibited materials, and then promoting them.

He pointed out that the manipulation represents a challenge in the world, and not only the UAE, because it is more like imitating a car and changing the “chassis” number, pointing out that the Dubai police recommended that about 85% of the materials that include what is known as “Spice”, but its manufacturers are always trying to add New installations are not included in the law.

He explained that the list of vehicles in which the recommendation issued contain 32 new species of the drug “Spice”, and other types that include drug formulations used in the treatment of mental, organic and neurological diseases, and are misused by some, and it became clear after examining that it has the effect of narcotic substances.

He explained that Dubai Police contributed to raising the classification of some of the “B” category, which can be disbursed from any doctor, to the “A” category, which is spent with a prescription through specific doctors, indicating that the manufacturers of these drugs sometimes complain, because this is The procedure affects the sales of its products, but this recommendation must be submitted, after the tests have proven to have the effect of drugs itself.

He pointed out that any drug can be a good and good treatment for treatment such as “tramadol”, but the problem remains in its abuse, whether by imitating it or using it in large quantities, so the committee to amend the tables of narcotic drugs and mental effects is keen to examine everything that is new, and act in a preventive way.

Al -Sumaiti said that the manufactured drug market has become cross -border, and is often promoted via the Internet, such as “Spice” before it is included in the schedule, so Dubai Police is keen to follow up on the materials developed in other countries, such as a substance that has begun to spread in a state European, and contains the effect of a stimulant included in the drug table, which is very dangerous, because people who are addicted to activating drugs are more dangerous than those who are addicted to substances that cause lethargy.

He added that a discussion took place on whether it should be moved only if these materials arrive in the country, or act in a proactive manner, indicating that there is an electronic network known as “Smart”, which includes specialists only from all countries of the world, and works under the umbrella of the United Nations, To consult on any new material to be detected.

He stressed that there is cooperation between the control devices in the Dubai Police and Customs, as experts are provided with the samples required to examine them.
