A second loss for Al-Bataeh in the Arab Basketball Clubs Championship


The Al-Bataeh Club team suffered its second defeat in a row in the Arab Club Basketball Championship, after losing to Al-Arabi Qatar, with a score of (73-93), today, Thursday, at Burj Al-Arab Hall, in the first group competitions, at the opening of the second round of the currently held tournament group stage. In Alexandria, Egypt, and extends until October 12.
Al-Bataeh paid the price for his laxity during the first half, after Al-Arabi Qatar succeeded in deciding the match in its favor by obtaining the absolute advantage in the results of the first and second quarters (20-36 and 30-16), especially since Al-Raqi’s attempts to return to the match did not bear fruit despite obtaining the advantage in the results of the two quarters. The third and fourth are (20-16 and 17-11).
Tomorrow, Al-Bataeh will play his third match in the tournament, when he meets the Sharjah Club team at the opening of the third round, in a match during which “Al-Raqi” aspires to achieve its first victory, after starting its journey in the tournament by losing to Kazma Al-Kuwaiti with a score of (66-77).
