A strategic partnership between “Fly Dubai” and “LinkedIn” to support employment


Flydubai has signed a strategic partnership agreement with LinkedIn to support the continuous recruitment process in the tanker and training and development programs in the coming years.

The agreement reflects the adoption of the “LinkedIn Talent Projects for Employment and Training” that highlight the company’s efforts to attract and develop high talents and competencies, as well as the continuous commitment of the carrier to support the aviation center in Dubai and the aviation sector in the country. LinkedIn’s cooperation with the modern recruitment and training tools for Fly Dubai.

The signing of the agreement was attended by the first Vice President of Human Resources in “Fly Dubai”, Nasser bin Kharbash, and the President of the Middle East and North Africa in LinkedIn for talent solutions, Rabie Haider.

Nasser bin Kharbash said: “(Fly Dubai) is committed to investing in the latest technologies and innovative solutions, and we are pleased to cooperate with (LinkedIn) to support our continuous employment campaigns and training capabilities, while expanding the workforce in (flydubai) in the coming years.”

He added: «Our working cadres are an integral part of achieving a development approach (flydubai) and our continued expansion of our internal capabilities. We look forward to attracting more talents to join us, and our vision is in line with the UAE vision that enhances the feeling of belonging and creates a more comprehensive work environment, as Dubai today is a leading destination for living and working. ”

The “LinkedIn” program for talent projects for employment and training will contribute to providing access to international networks, in addition to advanced tools that contribute to employment and access to a wide range of competencies in multiple sectors, allowing Flydubai employees to access the “Linkedin” training programs that provide strategies to develop talent and high professional courses designed to enable the tanker employees.

Since 2009, the number of employees in Flydubai has grown to more than 6000 employees, representing 140 nationalities. The carrier continued to invest in its internal capabilities and continue to develop its training programs, including the Emirati cadres training program, the engineering training program, and the various national development programs in the company.

Flydubai continues to encourage and develop Emirati cadres, and provide job opportunities and vocational training in various sections of the company, including operations on the plane, engineering and other departments in the company.
