A young man kidnaps his ex-girlfriend and rapes her


An unemployed young man proposed to a girl, but his proposal was rejected. She married another person, so he went crazy, kidnapped her, and sexually assaulted her, in order to force her family to divorce her from the husband she married six months before committing the crime.

The young man became a defendant in a case heard by the Dubai Criminal Court, headed by Judge Hamad Abdul Latif, and with the membership of Judges Badr Al-Samat and Wajdi Al-Minyawi. The court decided to continue examining the case on the 23rd of next month. According to the referral order, the Deira Prosecution said that the accused (M.A., an Emirati), aged (24 years), forcibly kidnapped a woman with physical and psychological torture and carrying weapons with the intention of raping her, by coming to her, threatening to kill her, forcing her into his car, and beating her. Then he raped her.

The victim, a 29-year-old Emirati employee, stated in the prosecution’s investigations that “while she was stopping in the parking lot of an external school before going down to take exams, she was surprised by the accused opening the door and sitting in the seat next to her, asking to speak to her, and she said to him: ‘What? Do you want?” He said: “Come and ride in my car.” She refused, but he insisted and took out a knife from his pocket, and threatened her if she did not ride with him. She refused, and he struck her with the knife. Her car was hit, so she was afraid of him. She said, “She was going to take the exam and then come back. She took her bag and her mobile phone to call her husband, but the accused saw her and came quickly and blocked her way. He was screaming and asking her to get into his car.” She continued, “After riding her, he forcefully took her mobile phone from her, took out her SIM card, and said that he would take her to his family and drove at a crazy speed, and I was surprised that he was on the Dubai-Al-Ain road, and then I asked him to get her out of the vehicle, but he refused, and he was hitting her with his hands in the face and she was crying hard. Until he arrived in the Al Ain area, where he saw a car containing the accused’s friends and they booked a hotel room.

The accused asked her to go down with him to the hotel so he could talk to her. Due to his excitement, she was afraid of him and went down with him. He was walking in front of her and she was behind him, but she did not try to escape because his friends were outside. As they went up to the room, phone calls came to the accused’s phone from her mother and sisters after they learned that she was with him. Because he called her sister and told her that she was with him and that he would take her home.

After that, she said, “He asked her to have sex with him, but she refused, so he turned off the lights and had sex with her against her will, as she was screaming and crying. After that, she asked him to take her back to her house, and after they left the hotel, she asked him for water from a gas station, and when He stopped and got off. She jumped out of the driver’s seat and started the car. She saw a car on the road. She asked its driver to provide her with a mobile phone. She called her husband and informed him of what had happened. She headed to Dubai to her sister’s house, then They went to Al Muraqqabat Police Station to report, where she was referred to forensic medicine.

The victim’s sister reported during the investigations that “the accused did not stop contacting her after her sister’s marriage, repeatedly, crying, sending her short text messages, and telling her that he still loved her sister.” She said, “On the day of the incident, he called her and asked about her sister. She told him that she had gone to take exams, so he quickly hung up the phone, and then I learned about the incident.”
