The head of the Municipalities and Transport Department, Falah Muhammad Al -Ahbabi, stressed that the replacement of the region’s name comes within the framework of the interest of the wise leadership and its continuous keenness to strengthen the authentic heritage, and the link between the ancient past of our country of the Emirates and the prosperous present in all levels, and in line with the comprehensive renaissance witnessed by Abu Dhabi And its suburbs and regions at all levels.
On the same level, the municipality of Abu Dhabi City called on all the institutions, bodies and authorities concerned to adopt the new name (Al -Nouf) and to replace all correspondence and guidance boards, and install the new name on various maps.
