“Abu Dhabi Energy” launches the “safe use of gas systems” campaign

The Energy Department in Abu Dhabi launched the second phase of the awareness campaign to enhance the safe and responsible use of liquefied petroleum gas systems in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, coinciding with the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan.

The campaign calls for awareness of the importance of compliance with the approved standards and regulations, to ensure the protection of lives and property, under the slogan “Your safety is our priority.”

The campaign targets many categories that deal with liquefied petroleum gas systems, and includes workers and assistive groups in homes who use gas on a daily basis, and employers who provide appropriate training for workers in this field, such as restaurants and cafeteria stores, in addition to the recruitment and employment companies.

The Acting Director General of the Acting Affairs Sector in the Energy Department, Dr. Saif Saeed Al -Qubaisi, affirmed the department’s commitment to strengthening a sustainable and effective energy sector, while constantly keenness to provide a safe and healthy environment for all residents of the emirate.

He added: «We believe that the safety of society is a major priority in all areas of dealing with liquefied petroleum gas, and through this campaign we seek to ensure the compliance of all institutions and individuals to safety procedures, and the application of the necessary standards and requirements, and this requires continuous cooperation with various stakeholders, in order to avoid incidents and potential risks, our joint commitment to applying these standards contributes to building a safer society, and enhances the sustainability of the sector The whole. ”

It is noteworthy that the campaign includes the publication of many awareness messages through various media channels and “social media”, and includes the invitation of community members in Abu Dhabi to adopt safe practices in the use of gas, whether at work or home, to ensure their safety and the safety of their families.
