Abu Dhabi Water Sports concludes its camp in Kazan


The Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Water Sports Club, Hamid Al Hooti, ​​confirmed that the club’s team has completed its external training camp in Kazan, the capital of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, which was held during the period from July 28 to August 12, and which comes as part of the club’s plan to develop its swimmers.

Al-Houthi said in press statements, “The camp was based on a number of important axes, starting with the swimmers acquiring new skills that raise the level of their sports experience, through getting to know many new schools in the world of water sports.”

The team included Abdullah Naseeb Al Menhali as the mission administrator, and coaches Abdullah Sabit Al Kaabi and Mohammed Ali Al Kasrawi. Al Hooti confirmed that the club’s team participated in a friendly swimming tournament with the Russian sports school team “Aquatica”, which organized the tournament, which was held in cooperation with the Kazan International Institute. Periodic medical examinations were also conducted for the swimmers during the training camp, to ensure the swimmers’ health and ensure their full readiness for the upcoming stages.

Al-Houthi concluded his speech by saying, “As part of the club’s technical strategy to spread sports culture in the Emirates, three teams from the club are participating for the first time in the 8th Asian Underwater Hockey Championship in Singapore, in three different categories for youth, men and masters.”
