Ahmed Salem Khalfan is the most apparent ruling in high -caliber matches

A statistic monitored by «Emirates Today» revealed that the referee’s whistle in football, Ahmed Salem Khalfan, is the most visible in managing high-caliber matches or “derby” in the ADNOC Professional League, for the sports season 2024-2025, until the 18th round, as Ahmed Salem Khalfan led five large and sensitive matches, is the Al-Ahly youth summit with Sharjah in the sixth round, and Al-Wasl with Al-Jazeera in the seventh round, and Al-Ahly youth with Al-Ahly Victory in round 11, and the island with Al -Wahda within round 12, and victory with Al -Wasl in round 16, which witnessed exciting events and objections to the arbitration performance, and this caused the signing of the Disciplinary Committee in the Football Association, disciplinary sanctions against Al -Nasr Club and the technical and administrative staff of the team.

The statistic showed the referee Ahmed Salem Khalfan, a first -class referee on international referees in football in the number of large matches he led in the league so far, knowing that the referee Ahmed Salem does not carry the international emblem in arbitration.

He ranked second in terms of the most administrative referees for large matches with two matches, both the rising referee Badr Boujamour, Omar Al Ali, Yahya Al -Mulla, Muhammad Al -Harmudi, and the Brazilian referee and Wilton Pereira.

Badr Boujamour led the summit of unity and Al -Wasl in the eighth round, Al -Wasl and Sharjah in round 13, while the international referee Omar Al -Ali led the Al -Jazeera summit with victory in the fourth round, and Al -Ain with victory in round 13, and the referee Yahya Al -Mulla was led by Sharjah and Al -Nasr in the eighth round, and Al -Wasl with Al Ain in round 17, and the referee Muhammad Al -Haroudi led the summit of victory and unity in the seventh round, victory and Al -Jazeera in round 17.

While the Brazilian referee Wilton Pereira led the summit matches between Al Ain and Al -Ahly youth in the seventh round, Sharjah and Al -Wahda in the tenth round, and he led one big match at the level of local referees, both the international referee Adel Al -Naqbi, who led the Sharjah and Al -Jazeera summit in the third round, and the international referee Sultan Muhammad Saleh who led the Al -Wahda and Al -Ain summit in round 18.

The league until the 18th round witnessed the holding of 24 high -caliber games led by 16 referee, namely: Ahmed Salem Khalfan, Badr Boujamho, Omar Al Ali, Adel Al -Naqbi, Muhammad Al -Harmudi, Yahya Al -Mulla, Felix Zawir, Wallton Pereira, Daniel Sapirt, Cerez Arturo, Sergey Karasif, Kilimon Torban, Davidi Massa, Nfkco Vitnish, Danny Makili and Sultan Muhammad Saleh.

For his part, the former international referee in football, Abdullah Al -Aji, said that regarding the criteria for supporting strong matches, it depends on the principle of the excellence of the referee, which is a key factor in assigning any strong and sensitive match, and that Ahmed Salem is currently the best referee in the UAE league.

Abdullah Al -Aji added to «Emirates Today»: “Ahmed Salem Khalfan is one of the best referees in the first degree level, and the evidence is success in managing the matches, and the derby that he is managing.”

“The management of local matches is sometimes more difficult than external matches, given the pressure that the referee can be exposed to, and Ahmed Salem Khalfan excels in this regard to international referees in managing local matches, so there is no distinguished international referee externally that can manage sensitive and strong matches in the domestic league, so Ahmed Salem is the best referee in the UAE league currently, and Badr Boujamour is the best rising referee currently … and the numbers speak in this regard.”
