Al-Bataeh futsal team coach Adnan Al-Houli said that his team’s victory in the Super Cup for the second time in a row enhances the confidence of his players towards continuing their achievements, after winning all the tournaments last season, while he revealed that his team’s players and technical and administrative staff follow special rituals that help them win crucial matches. The most important of which is avoiding psychological pressure, freedom of play, and the tactical approach for each match.

Al-Bataeh won the title of the current edition of the Super Cup, after defeating Khor Fakkan (6-2) a few days ago, bringing the number of club championships under the supervision of coach Adnan Al-Houli to 11 championships, including the Khor Fakkan International Championship.

Al-Houli told Emirates Al-Youm: “Al-Bataeh Club has become a destination for futsal players.”

Regarding the secret of Al-Bataeh’s superiority in most of the final matches, Al-Houli said: “We have our own rituals in the final matches and derby matches, the most prominent of which is staying away from psychological pressure, and seeking the help of all players to benefit from their contributions during the match,” adding, “We also play each match in a special tactical style that differs from other matches.” This gives us technical superiority and ambiguity. We also give the players the freedom to make decisions on the field based on the approved technical vision.”

He continued: “We hope that the successes achieved by UAE futsal will be reflected in the national team during the upcoming competitions, through the development of the level of players technically and mentally and the achievement of victories, and this is considered an added sporting role for the Al Bataeh Club.”
