Al Dhafra defeats “Gulf United” and continues to lead “Al-Oula”


Al Dhafra team defeated its guest, Gulf United, with two clean goals, yesterday, at the Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Stadium at Al Dhafra Club, in the eighth round of the First Division Football League, bringing Al Dhafra’s score to 19 points in the lead, while Gulf United’s score froze at One point for last place.

Mansour Ibrahim Al-Harbi scored for Al Dhafra in the 78th minute, and Frenchman Mohamed Lamine Yatara (90 + 6).

Hatta tied with its guest, Gulf FC, 2-2, leaving the former with six points in 10th place, and the latter with five points in 13th place.

The goals for Hatta were scored by Brazilian Willian Lira (1), and his compatriot Patrick Robson (52), while Brazilian Reiner Alves (46) and Rashid Lahi (57) scored for Gulf FC.

The round will be completed today with four matches, as the Emirates will meet with Al-Jazira Al-Hamra, Masfoot with Dibba, Al-Arabi with Al-Dhaid, and United with Al-Hamriyah.
