Al Dhafra, United and Gulf FC win in the First League


Al Dhafra team defeated its guest Al Dhaid 2-1, yesterday, at Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Stadium in the fourth round of the First Division Football League, raising its score to nine points at the top of the standings.

Frenchman Mohamed Lamine Yara scored for Al Dhafra in the fifth minute, and Brazilian Vitor (70), while Ghanaian Basiro Al Hassan (48) scored for Al Dhaid, whose score was frozen at five points.

The United team returned from Hamdan Bin Rashid Stadium with three valuable points, after defeating Hatta 3-1, bringing United’s balance to five points, while Hatta’s balance froze at six points.

United’s goals were scored by Ivory Coast’s Ibrahima Ouattara (25), Dutchman Quincy Promes (35), and Portuguese Adrian da Silva (65), while Brazilian Marcelo de Veritas scored Hatta’s only goal (46).

“Gulf FC” defeated its host Masfout 3-2, and Chadian Anwar Soussan scored for the winner (31, 73, 90 + 3). On the other hand, Tabrika Jing (10) and Fahad Hadid (50) scored for the Gambian team Masfout.

Gulf FC raised its score to five points, and Masfout four points.
