Al -Jazeera decides the controversy over the future of Hussein Amouta and his move to train Iraq


Al -Jazira Club issued an official statement on the future of coach Hussein Amouta with the team, stressing that it continued to lead the “Abu Dhabi’s pride” in the coming period.
The club denied on its official account on the social media platform «X» what was reported about the transfer of the Moroccan coach to lead the Iraq team, starting from today, and his departure from the team after his leadership to crown the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup title by defeating Al -Ahly youth with two goals against a goal in the final at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain.
Al -Jazeera said in its statement that: “Al -Jazira Club denies the validity of the media reports that were issued after the end of the final match of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup competition, which talked about the coach of the first football team in Hussein Amouta, training the brotherly Iraqi team starting next Monday.”
He added, “Al -Jazira Club confirms that these reports are completely incorrect, and that the coach is committed to his contract with the club.”
He continued: «We are asking the media to investigate the accuracy and not to publish rumors and to draw news related to the club and its affiliates from its approved official source.”
For his part, Al -Hussein Amouta affirmed his commitment to his contract with Al -Jazeera, denying what was reported about his departure from the team.
The Moroccan coach expressed his happiness by winning his first titles with “Abu Dhabi’s pride”, pointing out that everyone in the club had a sense of responsibility and the importance of the match and its difficulty.
He said in press statements: “The cup matches are different from the league matches.”
He added: “We have achieved an important title at the end of the season, and we deserved to reach the final of the President’s Cup, and we missed the focus in the last minutes against Sharjah.”
He explained: “The differences do not mean anything in the cups of the cups, and we were on the date and achieved the title, and the focus and combat spirit helped us to get out.”
On his future with Al -Jazeera, Amouta said: “I am with Al -Jazeera on my part, and I have a moral and official commitment with the team until the end of the next season, and I have hopes to achieve more positive results at the end of the season.”
