The captain of the Al-Nasr team, Moroccan Adel Taarabt, considered that his team had developed a lot in the past two seasons, compared to the previous one, as the “Al-Ameed” team was close to being relegated to the first division “amateur” league, and was competing in late positions in the ranking table, indicating that the team, despite the losses that He was exposed to it recently, and he is still competing and giving good performances, especially since he occupies sixth place in the standings with 19 points, nine points behind the leaders.

This season, Al-Nasr suffered four defeats, which were against Al-Wasl, Al-Jazira, and Al-Sharjah, then finally lost to Shabab Al-Ahly in the 11th round of the professional league, which angered the fans aspiring to compete for the league title.

Al-Nasr also bid farewell to the President’s Cup in the round of 16, and also bid farewell to the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup in the quarter-finals, so that it currently remains a competitor in the league in addition to the Gulf Champions League for clubs, and the Qatari-UAE Super Cup.

The captain of the Al-Nasr team defended the team’s situation, saying to “Emirates Al-Youm”: “I came to Al-Nasr three seasons ago, and the team was close to the relegation league and its situation was in crisis. I think the situation now is much better.
