Al Wasl team raises the slogan of compensation when it visits Ajman at 7:30 pm today, at Rashid Bin Saeed Stadium, in the sixth round of the ADNOC Professional Football League. In a confrontation in which the “Emperor” has no alternative but victory after two harsh losses at the hands of Al Ain 2-4 and Khor Fakkan 3-4 respectively.

Al-Wasl will have to take advantage of the high morale currently dominating the team’s atmosphere, after its victory away from home in the AFC Champions League at the expense of Qatar’s Al-Gharafa 2-1, a victory that was coupled with performance, as the team turned a one-goal deficit into a two-goal victory.

On paper, Al Wasl’s task seems easy in regaining the winning tone due to the large differences in the capabilities of the players compared to the hosts, but that will not be enough to guarantee the three points. The team currently has only seven points from two wins and one draw, compared to two losses.

Ajman’s position in the current season is not better than Al-Wasl, as it has only three points from one win and one loss in four matches. But at the same time, “Orange” realizes that the importance of victory over a team the size of Al Wasl goes beyond the three points, as it is against the defending champion, which will give the players a great morale boost before the upcoming confrontations.

In the second match, which will be held at 19:30 pm today as well, the Al Jazira team (9 points) is looking to achieve victory at the expense of its guest Khor Fakkan (6 points), when it hosts it at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium. Al Jazira will have to be very careful, especially since Khor Fakkan was able to turn the tables in the last round against its host Al Wasl and win 4-3.

In a third match, which begins at 16:55 pm today, the Al Orouba team is looking for its first points in the competition, when it hosts Bani Yas “7 Points” at Dibba Stadium. The homeowners have no alternative but victory if they want to get out of the dark tunnel. The team had performed well in the match with Al Jazira in the President’s Cup, and lost the match with difficulty and with a clean goal that came in the 85th minute.

. Al-Wasl is in high spirits after winning away from home at the expense of Qatar’s Al-Gharafa in the AFC Champions League.

. Al Jazira will have to be very careful, especially since its rival, Khor Fakkan, was able to beat Al Wasl in the last round.
