Al-Wasl reserves a seat in the golden square of the Professional League Cup

Al-Wasl reached the semi-finals of the Professional League Cup (Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Football Cup), after a goalless draw with its host Baniyas, in the return match today, Monday.
Al Wasl’s promotion came after it had won the first leg over Baniyas 3-1 at Zabeel Stadium.
“The Emperor” is awaiting a heavy-caliber confrontation with the winner from Al Jazira and Al Ain, which will take place later today.
The match between Baniyas and Al Wasl was below average, as Al Wasl was the party that reached the goal the most, unlike Al Samawi, which did not have any reaction that reflected its intentions to make up for the difference in the two goals that it missed in the first leg.
Al-Wasl scored two goals over the course of the two halves of the match, by Sofiane Bouftini and Caio Canedo, and they were ruled out for offside.
