Nouf Mohammed Jamal, senior engineer at Bee’ah, said that Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week is an important milestone for companies working in the field of clean energy and waste recycling, and is also a great and exclusive opportunity to sign agreements and cooperate with government bodies and agencies.

She explained that among the company’s achievements is that its Sharjah Waste Treatment Plant has processed half a million tons of waste since its operation until now, and converted it into electrical energy that has benefited 28,000 homes around the clock.

She added: “We have a new project that we are currently working on that aims to convert solid waste into hydrogen by converting it into gaseous waste. More details will be announced during the coming period.”
