The national bodybuilding team came runner-up in the Second Gulf Championship, which was held in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, after winning 12 colored medals and three titles in the “Champion of Champions” competitions, while the Saudi team came in first place, and the Bahraini team came in third.
The closing day witnessed Mishari Ahmed winning the gold medal and the title of Champion of the “Mascular Physics” category, Rashid Al Zaabi winning the “Master Physics” silver, and Issam Al-Ghous winning the bronze in the same category.
In turn, the head of the national teams and competitions committees, Ahmed Johar, told Emirates Al-Youm: “The team players were able to achieve a distinguished achievement, and we were close to winning other medals, but we are happy with these results.”
