The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment confirmed that the state markets are free of “Coca -Cola” products that contain unusual levels of chlorine.
The Ministry stated, through its official account on the X platform, that all the products of the “Coca -Cola” in the local market are safe, and to match the requirements and standards of food safety in the Emirates.
The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment issued this clarification after Coca -Cola announced that it had ordered a widespread withdrawal of its products in Belgium, the Netherlands, Britain, Germany, France and Luxembourg, after tests have set high levels of chlorine.
The Ministry stressed that the products circulated in the UAE markets are not subject to this clouds, as they are produced locally in the “Coca -Cola” factories for mobilization located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment has reaffirmed its continuous commitment to monitoring food safety and protecting consumer health, through permanent coordination with all concerned authorities.
