Development of products in “Dubai Industrial” to support the nuclear energy sector


“Fab Tech” engineering, the company specialized in manufacturing steel, and the existing in Dubai Industrial City, entered into a strategic agreement with the French industrial group “Group M” to accelerate the pace of innovation and sustainable development within the nuclear energy sectors and sustainable energy in the UAE.

A statement, issued yesterday, stated that the company “Fab Tech” seeks to expand its scope of its business in the nuclear energy sector through its partnership with “Group M”, to provide customers at the local and global levels with locally made products in the Emirates, and the two companies will work to develop comprehensive products and solutions at the site in engineering and manufacturing to support the nuclear and sustainable energy sectors, in a way that contributes to achieving the targets of the UAE strategy. For energy 2050.

Within the framework of the agreement signed between the two companies, Fab Tech will initiate the development and renewal of its current industrial facilities, which has an area of ​​2.1 million square feet in Dubai Industrial City.

On behalf of Dubai Industrial City, the CEO of the President of the Tecom Group – the industrial sector, Saud Abu Al -Shawarb, stressed the importance of strengthening national capabilities and developing knowledge in the establishment of a prosperous and sustainable industrial sector.

He said: «By enabling such strategic alliances, Dubai Industrial City continues its pivotal role in achieving strategic targets (project 300 billion) and the initiative (Made in the Emirates), (Emirates Energy Strategy 2050) and (Dubai Economic Agency D33), which establishes Dubai and the UAE as a leading global center in the clean energy sector.

For his part, Pierre Laurent Bush, CEO of Group M, said: “This agreement contributes to finding many new growth opportunities in the Middle East region, knowing that it is counting on the established relations between the UAE and France.”

He added, “There is no doubt that the presence of (Fab Tech) company in Dubai Industrial City, and that it has extensive experiences, would support the growth strategy in (Group M), and we expect in the near future to expand significantly at the region level.”

In turn, Vice President of Fab Tech for Business Development, Fabian Jafrawi, said: “The advanced infrastructure will play global standards in Dubai Industrial City, including the wide road network to transport large pieces with high effectiveness, a pivotal role in the march of growth and expansion.”
