Director General of Abu Dhabi Police: Excellence enhances institutional performance


His Excellency Major General Maktoum Ali Al Sharifi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police, stressed the importance of the pivotal role of excellence as a work method and culture that enhances institutional and functional performance.

His Excellency added, while honoring the winners of the distinguished individuals, teams and organizational units in the seventh session of the Director General Excellence Award, that the award was not only to honor achievements, but to motivate everyone to be creative and work in a team spirit to achieve the strategic goals of the police, and to enhance leadership in providing high-quality proactive police services.

The ceremony included a presentation of field and administrative achievements, and included honoring field departments that demonstrated effectiveness and efficiency in implementing their operations, and work teams that demonstrated their excellence in implementing administrative and field projects and initiatives.

Police projects that addressed security and societal challenges in innovative ways were also celebrated, in addition to joint initiatives that highlighted the strength of strategic partnerships.

At the individual level, an elite group of distinguished officers and police personnel were honored in their various fields of field, administrative and technical specializations, such as research, investigation, investigation and forensic evidence, and those distinguished in operational response and field training.
