DP World has been named one of the best workplaces for millennials in the GCC by Great Place to Work, a global workplace culture consultancy.
The group said in a statement yesterday that this recognition comes based on the positive opinions and feedback from millennial employees who make up 55% of DP World’s employees in the GCC, reflecting the group’s efforts to provide a preferred work environment that is keen to support and empower its workforce.
Earlier this year, DP World was recognised by Great Place to Work as one of the best places to work, further cementing its position as an employer committed to meeting the needs and aspirations of its employees.
The Great Place to Work Foundation accreditation is an appreciation for leading organizations that create outstanding employee experiences and implement exceptional practices in dealing with individuals. The foundation conducts an annual survey that includes the opinions of employees in 10,000 companies from 90 countries.
“Our people are at the heart of our business, and their dedication to achieving the group’s goals is the cornerstone of our strategic vision,” said Marwan Al Jasmi, Senior Vice President, People Management, DP World GCC. “This recognition underscores our commitment to providing a work environment based on purposeful values that inspire, empower and keep our employees engaged and active in their work.”
