“Dubai Chamber” establishes 9 new business councils in 2024


The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three rooms operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chamber, revealed the establishment of nine new business councils, during the past year, representing the nationalities of investors from Greece, Poland, Mexico, Colombia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Costa Rica, South Korea and Vietnam.

The Chamber stated that in the same year, in cooperation with business groups, the Chamber reviewed 107 laws and draft laws in accordance with the recommendations of the private sector recommendations of 58%, while 177 meetings were held with business groups and councils, while the organization of 27 meetings coordinated the collection of groups and business councils with government agencies and departments Meaningful.

This came during the first separation meeting of business groups and councils for the year 2025, which was recently organized by the Chamber.

A statement, issued yesterday, stated that during the meeting, the reality and prospects for the local economy were reviewed, and the promising opportunities that Dubai abounds in all sectors, in addition to the efforts and initiatives of the Chamber to support the interests of the local private sector.

Participants have known the achievements made by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce during the past year, which is an indication that reflects the economic momentum achieved by the emirate, as the value of exports and re -exports of the Chamber’s members during the year 2024 recorded a record level, in conjunction with the growth of the total active members registered in the membership, and the growth of numbers New members who exceeded 70 thousand companies.

“Groups and business councils are a basic pillar in the efforts to raise Dubai’s investment attractiveness, as it contributes to strengthening commercial partnerships locally and globally, expanding the scope of close cooperation between the public and private sectors, and pushing the growth wheel Economic ».

She added: “We are keen to enable the private sector to perform its role effectively by providing a dynamic platform for exchanging experiences, applying best practices, and enhancing the environment in support of growth, in a way that establishes Dubai’s position as a pioneering world center.”
