The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three rooms operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, announced yesterday the establishment of the Hungarian Business Council, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and joint work between business societies in Dubai and Hungary, and expanding commercial and investment ties in all sectors, and this step embodies the increase in Dubai’s attractiveness for the Hungarian business community, as the number of active Hungarian companies registered in the membership of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, at the end of last year, 201, has a growth of 48% on an annual basis.
During the first meeting of the Hungarian Business Council, which was recently held at the headquarters of the Dubai Chambers, mechanisms for expanding cooperation and joint work were discussed, the monitoring of promising business opportunities, the participation of experiences and data, in addition to organizing bilateral business activities.
“Business councils are an essential pillar in upgrading ties between companies and investors, as it contributes to expanding the scope of joint work and constructive cooperation between business societies,” she said, adding: “We continue our efforts to enhance the role of these councils in developing trade and investment relations with the countries of the world, in a way that contributes to supporting the growth of Dubai’s economy in all sectors.”
Business councils operating under the umbrella of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce are the nationalities of investors who are practicing their activities in the Emirate of Dubai.
Through cooperation and coordination with the Chamber, the focus is on promoting bilateral trade and investments between Dubai companies and companies of these countries and markets represented by the councils, with the aim of developing economic partnerships.
