Dubai Financial Market closes higher for fourth session
The Dubai Financial Market rose for a fourth consecutive trading day, closing up 0.364 percent at 6,007.85 points. The rally was broad based but led by gains in the real estate sector which underpinned market sentiment.
Total market capitalization at the Dubai bourse increased to AED 996.729 billion at the end of the session. That compared with AED 992.336 billion at the close of the previous trading day, reflecting an intraday capital gain near AED 4.39 billion.
Trading volumes and turnover indicate active session
Equity turnover on the Dubai Financial Market reached AED 682.19 million after trading about 193.82 million shares. Market participants executed 13,768 transactions across the session, signalling sustained investor engagement.
Liquidity remained concentrated in a handful of large names with six stocks capturing roughly 74.96 percent of total traded value. Those heavyweight names accounted for AED 511.41 million of the session s aggregate turnover.
Foreign investors return as net buyers
Non Arab foreign investors were net buyers during the trading day with net inflows of about AED 50.89 million. Their activity included purchases totalling AED 317.31 million against sales of AED 266.41 million.
Market brokers said the foreign buying helped support prices in key large cap names and contributed to the broader market advance. This pattern fits a cautious but selective approach where overseas investors pick stocks with higher liquidity.
Six names dominated market liquidity
Emaar Properties led market activity and accounted for the largest single share of turnover at AED 254.01 million. The developer s shares closed at AED 11.96, rising 1.36 percent on the session.
Emirates NBD ranked second with AED 88.62 million in trades at AED 32.02 per share. Emaar Development followed with AED 50.24 million in turnover, its share finishing at AED 13.80 and gaining 1.17 percent.
Other major stocks and sector performance
Delivery platform Talabat recorded AED 45.18 million in trading at AED 1.10 per share, while Dubai Islamic Bank attracted AED 37.79 million at AED 7.66. Dubai Electricity and Water Authority traded AED 35.92 million with its shares at AED 2.83.
Across sectors four groups registered gains, led by real estate which was the strongest contributor to the index move. Market analysts noted that concentration in a few names kept headline gains modest despite broad participation.
Abu Dhabi market posts modest advance
Neighboring Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange finished the session up 0.09 percent or 9.7 points, closing at 10,111.34. The Abu Dhabi market s capitalization stood near AED 2.937 trillion at the close.
ADX turnover exceeded AED 1.54 billion with about 333.65 million shares exchanged and 28,652 trades recorded. Activity in Abu Dhabi continued to reflect strong institutional participation across large cap sectors.
The Dubai Financial Market s fourth straight session of gains highlights a market environment driven by liquidity in major listed names and renewed overseas buying. Investors will watch upcoming corporate news and regional macro indicators for signs that the rally can be sustained.
