Dubai International Airport (DXB) is gearing up for a record start to 2025 with 4.3 million passengers expected during the first two weeks of the year, setting the stage for its busiest January on record.

Daily traffic is expected to reach its peak on January 3, with the number of passengers on this day reaching 311,000 passengers, while the average number of daily passengers during the period is expected to reach 287,000 passengers, an increase estimated at about 8% compared to the same period. From 2024, and about 6% compared to pre-pandemic levels in 2018-2019.

This exceptional performance reflects an increase in the number of international travelers departing after the holiday season, as well as residents returning from their holidays.

As the world’s leading airport for international travellers, Dubai International Airport remains a global benchmark for operational excellence, providing an extensive network of connections and a seamless travel experience for guests.
