“Dubai International Wood” starts with the participation of 781 exhibitors


The Executive Vice President at the Dubai World Trade Center, Maher Abdel Karim Julphar, opened yesterday the activities of the 21st edition of the “Dubai International Wood and Woody Meccan”, which witnesses the participation of 781 local and global exhibitors from 50 countries.

Julphar toured the exhibition, reviewed the participating international wings, and its innovative solutions and high -quality products in the field of wood and manufacturing technologies, which represent various experiences from global markets, and contribute to supporting the Dubai Economic Agency (D33) aimed at strengthening the business environment and attracting foreign investment to the emirate.

Dubai Al -Shizawi, head of the Dubai International Wood Exhibition and Woody Meccan, said:

He added: “In light of the accelerated growth in the demand for wood and natural materials within the sectors of construction, design and decoration, the exhibition reflects Dubai’s position as a strategic center for innovation and excellence in the wood industry.”

He pointed out that the exhibition highlights the latest innovations in manufacturing wood, and its role in reducing waste, as well as encouraging smart solutions to sustainable construction, which reduces the environmental impact, and works to enhance investments in green wood industries to achieve a carbon -free future by 2050.

The exhibition included 12 international widths, while the participating countries include: Portugal, Gabon, China, the United States, India, Italy, Turkey, Russia, France, Germany, Austria and Egypt.

International visitors and delegations also participate in the exhibition alongside the UAE, from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco and Jordan.

The exhibition gives the participants and visitors the opportunity to see a wide variety of wooden products and production supplies, which represents 1662 brands.
