Bin Touq said: “The International Air Transport Association (IATA) expects the air transport market in the UAE to grow by 170% over the next 20 years, leading to an increase of 101 million flights by 2037. This growth is expected to contribute an amount of 127.7%. One billion US dollars in the national economy, accompanied by an increasing trend towards adopting sustainable practices in the aviation sector, confirming that the aviation sector constitutes an essential pillar in the economic development process in the country.”

The CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, Khalfan Juma Belhoul, stressed that “Dubai has all the elements of leadership in employing advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and robotics, and adopting the latest innovative practices in all sectors of transport, air cargo and aviation.”
