“Dubai Maritime” adopts the 2025 strategy


The Board of Directors of the Dubai International Maritime Sports Club has adopted the new strategic period for the period 2025-2027, which aims to enhance Dubai’s position as a leading global destination in marine sports, with a focus on preserving maritime heritage, developing community events, talent care and national teams, to global coronation platforms .

This came during the monthly meeting of the Board of Directors, headed by Ahmed bin Mashmar, which was held, the day before yesterday, in the presence of the members of the Council, where a number of topics on the agenda were discussed, including the approval of the financial budget for the new year 2025.

The Dubai International Marine Sports Club said in a press statement that the new strategy is based on the combination of innovation and sustainability while preserving the authentic marine identity, and depends on five main pillars, including expanding marine sports, adding new competitions, enhancing sustainability of sports teams, and achieving financial sustainability By developing investments, promoting leadership in the field of innovation, and consolidating the principles of governance and institutional development.

The Board of Directors affirmed, during the meeting, that the announcement of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, in 2025, to be the “year of society”, under the slogan “Hand in Hand”, represents a leading national initiative, which reflects the state’s vision in strengthening Community cohesion, as this initiative is in line with the club’s goals aimed at supporting community participation in sports, and building a healthy and active community, by drawing and implementing purposeful sports programs and strategies.

The Council discussed the ongoing preparations to complete the activities and races of the Maritime Sports Season 2024-2025, which contribute to strengthening the community partnership, and includes a variety of competitions that attract amateurs and professionals.
