“Dubai Police” and “Dubai Duty Free” win the badminton title

Ghadeer Ali, from Dubai Police, and Giano Maya Baral, from Dubai Duty Free, were crowned champions of the badminton championship in the categories of female citizens and residents, as part of the competitions of the 12th edition of the “Sheikha Hind Women’s Sports Tournament,” in which more than 1,200 players from members of bodies and departments participated. Ghadeer Ali won first place in the female category in the badminton championship, which was held at Al Nasr Sports Club, after defeating Farah Ibrahim from Dubai Police, giving the latter second place, and Maryam Al Balushi from Mohammed bin Rashid University came in third place, after defeating Rawda Al Hajri. From the Dutco Group, and in the female resident category, Giano Maya from Dubai Duty Free won the female resident category title, after defeating Celeste May Roscoe from the Dubai Health Authority. The latter took second place, and Donnie Matthew from the Dubai Health Authority came in third place, after defeating Michelle. Abalite from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

Today, the shooting championship competitions will be held at the Fazza Sakton Shooting Range in the Al Ruwayyah area, while the steeplechase race will be held tomorrow at the Gravity Gym Club in the Al Quoz area, and the triple basketball championship competitions (3×3) will begin the day after tomorrow, Monday, at Al Nasr Sports Club, and will continue until Wednesday.
