Dubai promotes its tourism experiences through “Hilton Honors”


The Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with the “Hilton” brand, with the aim of enhancing the emirate’s global vision, and supporting the brand’s hotels in training their team members and improving service levels, within the framework of continuous cooperation between the two parties, and in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda “D33”. », aiming to strengthen its position as a leading global city for business and entertainment.

The department stated in a statement yesterday that the new partnership confirms the commitment of both parties to promoting innovation and excellence in the tourism sector by providing exceptional experiences for visitors.

The agreement aims to establish a framework for joint cooperation between the two parties, focusing on marketing initiatives aimed at attracting visitors through marketing and strategic communication, including advertising campaigns and interaction on social media that consolidate Dubai’s position as a leading destination.

The two parties will offer tourism options that highlight Dubai’s unique attractions, while placing these experiences within seasonal packages to enjoy.

This cooperation also makes it possible to integrate Dubai experiences into the Hilton Honors loyalty program, in which more than 195 million members participate worldwide.

The agreement emphasizes the importance of training and building capabilities and skills, as Hilton will participate in the training programs and courses organized by the Dubai College of Tourism, affiliated with the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, in order to develop the skills of work team members in the areas of customer service and cultural awareness, ensuring the provision of the best levels of service to visitors. .

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, and Guy Hutchinson, President of Hilton in the Middle East and Africa.

Kazim said, “Hilton is an important part of the growth process witnessed by the tourism sector in Dubai over the past decades. It has contributed to enhancing the city’s global reputation in the hospitality sector, and the exceptional experiences and upscale services it provides.”
