“Dubai Roads” includes the Nol card as a means of payment for using electric scooters

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai has included the Nol Card as an additional means of payment for using electric scooters belonging to approved operators, who operate under the authority’s umbrella in the emirate.

Salah Al-Din Al-Marzouqi, Director of the Automated Collection Systems Department in the Institutional Technical Support Sector at the Authority, said that this step aims to achieve the Authority’s vision of optimally implementing the first and last mile policy by providing the best facilities, which contribute to the integration of public transportation means with flexible means of transportation.

He explained that the Authority launched the Nol card as a payment method on all electric scooter operators’ applications by providing the card as an additional option among the payment options when purchasing the packages available to them (by hours, daily, monthly, and others) through the use of near-field communication technologies on smart phones.To use the electric scooter payment method, you must download the application of the electric scooter operating company

This initiative is in line with the expansion plans for Nol cards, which is in vital harmony with Dubai’s cashless strategy, and strengthens the “Nol” brand as a means of payment in the country.
