Dubai Roads launches the “New Manager” program to enhance leadership competencies among its employees


The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai announced the launch of the “New Manager” programme, which is a strategic initiative aimed at empowering new managers in various departments, through integrated development curricula and interactive programs specifically designed to prepare future leaders.

This program comes as part of the Authority’s commitment to achieving its ambitious vision and strategic goals, by empowering national competencies with the necessary knowledge tools to assume leadership and supervisory positions. The program includes high-level training in the areas of strategic leadership, innovation, team building, and directing change, which contributes to enhancing professional efficiency and productivity.

Executive Director of Human Resources and Development Department at the Authority, Adhari Muhammad, said: “The launch of the new director program reflects our keenness to invest in developing national competencies and pushing them towards excellence, as a translation of the directives of the wise leadership with the aim of creating an ideal work environment that enhances the capabilities and skills of employees, which contributes to achieving achievements.” Exceptional and distinguished results in government work.”

She pointed out that the program includes a series of interactive workshops, which combine theoretical education and practical application, in addition to counseling and guidance sessions, to enable trainees to adopt innovative methods of leadership and decision-making.

Mohammed added: “The year 2025 will witness the graduation of 50 new leaders from this program, to be prepared to face future challenges and lead work teams efficiently and creatively. This achievement strengthens Dubai’s position as a global destination for pioneering sustainable mobility, and confirms our commitment to achieving the fifth strategic goal of preparing for the future.”
