Dubai World Chamber attracts 51 multinational companies in 2024


Dubai World Chamber, one of the three rooms operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chamber, continued during 2024 its efforts to attract foreign direct investments to the emirate, and stimulate the expansion of local companies in foreign markets.

The Dubai World Chamber reported that during the year 2024 it succeeded in attracting 207 diverse companies between multinationals, small and medium, compared to 133 companies that were attracted during 2023, with a growth of 56%.

The list of companies attracted by the Chamber included 51 multinational companies compared to 33 companies in 2023 with a growth of 55%, and 156 small and medium companies attracted compared to 100 companies that were attracted in 2023 by an increase of 56%, in addition to supporting the expansion of 114 local companies to new global markets compared to With 77 local companies, their expansion was supported in 2023, a growth of 48%.

“The results achieved during the year 2024 reflect the importance of efforts to enhance Dubai’s investment attractiveness globally, and to support the growth of the local business community on the international scene,” said the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai World Chamber, Sultan Ahmed bin Salim.

He added: «The network of external offices of the DP World plays a vital role in reviewing the promising opportunities that Dubai abounds in front of international investors, and support multinational companies to take advantage of the integrated competitive ingredients that Dubai has, in conjunction with the development of the capabilities of companies operating in the emirate to expand their businesses In the most important international markets. ”

According to the Dubai World Chamber, during the past year, two external offices in Kazakhstan and Colombia opened, bringing the number of external representative offices to the room to 33 offices.
