The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has announced a partnership with acoustic specialist -45dB to introduce modular soundproof meeting spaces across its exhibition and conference venues. The agreement will see ready-to-use, flexible units installed at key sites including the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Dubai Exhibition Centre. These soundproof meeting spaces, designed to reduce ambient noise by up to 45 decibels, aim to support private meetings, content production and high-quality exhibitor interactions.

DWTC said the collaboration will expand the range of integrated services available to organisers and exhibitors operating within its campus. The modular units offered by -45dB include small gathering pods and fully scalable spaces that can be converted into meeting rooms or breakout lounges. DWTC emphasised that the move is intended to strengthen the centre’s event infrastructure and provide immediate turnkey options for event planners.

The units are engineered to attenuate external noise levels by as much as 45 dB, enabling clearer communications and undisturbed content recording inside busy exhibition halls.
