She said that students in grades three through grade 11 submit a request to review grades directly through the school, as school administrations are assigned the tasks of receiving grade review requests and responding to them within three working days from the date of submission, by rejecting or accepting the objection, or requesting further review. The Ministry developed an indicator to measure the quality and efficiency of responding to requests for the number of grade review cases, according to three tracks that include the number of grade review cases (received, pending, and closed) at the school branch/school level.
Submission controls
According to the controls for submitting grade review requests, registration should be by student number, student ID number, choosing the number of subjects, and stating the reason for review (several options are available). The process of reviewing the results takes place between the school administration and the Ministry only, without the need for parents to visit the Ministry’s headquarters or branches, and the Ministry will communicate directly with school principals through approved communication channels.
The Ministry has specified the criteria and conditions for submitting requests for review of grades, to include requests for review of grades based on the final assessment grade decision at the end of the semester and repeating, with a maximum of three subjects from Group “A” of academic subjects.

Exceptions

Others are for submitting a repeat test, requests for adjusting the percentage for admission to higher education institutions, and an exception from the student’s attendance of 65% of the school days for students of the first cycle, which includes grades one to three.
