The UAE Pro League announced the signing of a partnership agreement with Emaar Properties, whereby Emaar will become the official sponsor of the UAE Super Cup Championship starting from the current season 2024-2025 for a period of 4 seasons, with the name of the championship to be “Emaar Super Cup”.
The announcement was made in Dubai, in the presence of Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar, and Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi, Chairman of the UAE Pro League.
“We at Emaar are delighted to be the official sponsor of the UAE Super Cup. This partnership embodies our deep commitment to supporting sports and promoting a healthier and more active lifestyle in the community. For us, the Emaar Super Cup is more than just a prominent football event, it symbolises our continuous efforts to support the sustainable growth and development of the UAE, as a nation and its people,” said Mohammed Alabbar in a press statement.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Pro League, Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi, stressed that every success achieved in the path of supporting Emirati football is due to the wise leadership that has devoted its efforts to supporting its sports sons, in order to achieve the most beautiful ambitions and targeted successes.
Al Junaibi added: “We are proud in the Professional League of this sponsorship. Emaar is a true model of what the Emirati person can achieve in terms of a real imprint in formulating real estate development concepts on a global level. Today, the Emaar Super Cup is proud of this sponsorship, which will bring about a qualitative shift in this tournament.”
