The carrier stated in a statement yesterday that the classification and detailed evaluations were calculated based on more than 30 criteria, including: accuracy of flight schedules, free baggage allowance, network of destinations, quality of the main airport, age of the fleet, excellence of the loyalty rewards program, and meals on board. The results were calculated based on data from more than 18 independent international awards, reader polls, data from classification sites, and expert reviews.

The Telegraph study described Emirates Airlines as a “carrier worthy of victory,” because it scored high marks in almost all criteria categories, from the weight of luggage to the accuracy of flight times. It also described it as the carrier that operates the largest number of giant “Airbus A380” aircraft. Double-decker, it is the most beloved aircraft by travelers, because it provides the largest seat and leg space in the cabins of all classes, including economy class.
