Emirates flights update: Carrier confirms services to 137 destinations and details rebooking options

Emirates flights update: carrier confirms services to 137 destinations, details rebooking, refunds and a one-time free date change for eligible tickets.

Emirates has issued an operational update confirming that it currently operates services to 137 destinations across 72 countries, and has set out options for passengers affected by recent schedule changes. The airline said it is closely monitoring conditions and working to provide additional flight choices and connections for travellers. Passengers are urged to check their flight status and personal contact details before travelling to ensure they receive the latest notifications.

Network reach and current schedules

Emirates said its network spans the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East, GCC states, the Far East and Australia, with scheduled services maintained to 137 destinations. The carrier emphasized that it continues to monitor global developments that could affect operations and will adjust services as required. Customers should consult official Emirates channels for the most current schedule and availability.

Advisory to passengers on checking reservations

The carrier has advised passengers to verify their bookings and to confirm flight times before heading to the airport. Emirates asked travellers to update their personal contact information in the “Manage Booking” section so they can receive timely alerts and itinerary changes. The airline reiterated that checking in online and reviewing travel documentation remains essential to avoid delays at the airport.

Rebooking and refund provisions for affected bookings

For customers with bookings dated between 28 February and 31 May, Emirates has outlined rebooking and refund options to ease disruption. Passengers may rebook onto an alternative service to the same destination or transfer to another destination within the same region at no additional charge, provided the new travel is completed by 15 June. Alternatively, travellers may request a refund; however, Emirates notes that rebooking must be completed before submitting a refund request, and any unused flight segments within a booking will be cancelled and automatically refunded.

One-time free date change for tickets issued from April 2

Emirates confirmed that tickets issued on or after 2 April are eligible for one complimentary date change across all travel classes, subject to the ticket’s validity. Travelers choosing to change dates should be aware that fare differences may apply if the new flight is priced higher than the original booking. The carrier stressed that the one-time waiver is intended to provide flexibility while maintaining fare rules and ticketing conditions.

Handling of connecting itineraries through Dubai

The airline said it will make every effort to re-accommodate passengers whose travel plans involve connections via Dubai, prioritising the next available flights to minimise disruption. Re-accommodation will cover affected itineraries that include onward connections and will aim to preserve original routing where possible. Emirates also highlighted that passengers with complex, multi-leg bookings should contact customer service early to discuss options.

Customer channels and managing notifications

Emirates reiterated the importance of keeping contact details current in the “Manage Booking” portal to ensure receipt of operational notices and boarding information. The carrier encouraged customers to use official booking channels — including its website and mobile app — when making changes or seeking refunds to ensure transactions are processed correctly. For bespoke assistance, passengers with special requirements or irregular itineraries were advised to reach out to Emirates’ customer support teams.

The airline said its operations teams remain on alert to restore or expand services as conditions permit and will continue to communicate changes through official channels. Passengers affected by schedule amendments are advised to act promptly to secure alternative travel or refunds, and to monitor their booking messages for updates.
