The Emirates College for Educational Development achieved significant growth in the number of educators enrolled in its programs during the current year, as the college enrollment rate increased by 131% and the number of students reached more than 1,000 educators.

Dr. Mai Laith Al-Taie, Director of the Emirates College for Educational Development, expressed in special statements her aspiration during the year 2025 to continue the process of empowering teachers and educators with international competence and qualifications for the future, who are deeply rooted in the cultural identity of the UAE, to excel on the local and global scene.

She added that the year 2024 witnessed a significant growth in the number of educators enrolled in the college’s academic programs, which aim to empower highly qualified educators and teachers.
She pointed to achieving a 100% employment rate for graduates of the Emirates College for Educational Development, in addition to training 140 educational leaders through the Educational Leadership Capacity Building Program, which enabled them to lead meaningful change in education and improve educational outcomes in the schools in which they work.
She explained that the college launched specialized and accredited academic tracks in the Arabic language and Islamic studies, attracting more than 75 male and female students, and for the first time in the college’s history, it received two additional batches of students during the year 2024, which indicates the college’s proactive response to the growing demand for innovative educational empowerment programs.
Regarding the college’s research efforts and innovative initiatives, she said that academic staff members worked on 35 innovative research projects, during which they focused on integrating artificial intelligence and technology, family participation in teaching and learning, and transforming the school education system with the aim of addressing challenges and anticipating opportunities in education.
She pointed out that more than 1,243 participants benefited from the college’s initiatives and activities for professional development, which included 344 different initiatives and events, and the college’s accredited academic programs provided 17,298 qualified educators and teachers qualified to lead the school education system and the Emirati school in the country.
She stressed that the Emirates College for Educational Development continues to launch new initiatives such as the Innovative Learning Communities Network initiative – I Learn – I Read – Spotlight Podcast and many others.
