Empower announces Q1 2026 revenue up 16.8% and profit up 44%

Empower Q1 2026 results show AED 631 million revenue and 44% jump in net profit

Empower reports Q1 2026 results with AED 631 million revenue, EBITDA AED 358 million and net profit AED 208 million driven by capacity growth and cost efficiencies.

Empower Q1 2026 results reveal a strong start to the year as the Dubai-based district cooling provider posted consolidated revenue of AED 631 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. EBITDA reached AED 358 million while profit before tax amounted to AED 229 million and net profit after tax closed at AED 208 million. The company said the quarterly net profit represents a 44 percent increase compared with the first quarter of 2025.

Empower reports AED 631 million revenue in Q1 2026

Empower’s top line rose 16.8 percent year on year for the quarter, reflecting higher volumes and tariff contributions across its portfolio. Management attributed the revenue uplift to increased chilled water production from newly commissioned capacity and stronger seasonal demand in Dubai. The company said operational improvements and disciplined pricing also supported sales without compromising service levels.

EBITDA and profitability show material improvement

EBITDA of AED 358 million underlined operational leverage as cooling output expanded while operating costs were reduced. Profit before tax stood at AED 229 million, with net profit after tax at AED 208 million for the period. Company officials highlighted that margins benefitted from lower fuel and procurement costs along with efficiency measures across plant and network operations.

Management cites capacity expansion and efficiency gains

Empower’s chief executive Ahmed bin Shafar said the quarter’s performance validated the company’s expansion and efficiency strategy. He noted that the increase in production capacity and targeted cost controls were core drivers of the improved financials. The chief executive also emphasized ongoing investments in digital controls and predictive maintenance as enablers for higher asset utilization and lower downtime.

Twelve month consolidated results demonstrate steady momentum

For the 12 months from April 2025 to March 2026 Empower recorded consolidated revenue of AED 3.51 billion compared with AED 3.26 billion a year earlier, marking growth of 7.6 percent. Twelve month EBITDA rose to AED 1.71 billion from AED 1.53 billion in the prior period, an increase of 11.7 percent. The company said the trailing twelve month performance reflects the cumulative impact of new plant capacity brought online during the year and continuing demand for district cooling as Dubai’s urban projects progress.

Sustainability and low carbon transition remain strategic priorities

Empower reiterated its commitment to improving the environmental footprint of district cooling through technology upgrades and fuel transition initiatives. The company plans to expand its use of lower carbon energy sources and implement further efficiency projects to reduce emissions intensity. Management said these measures are intended to align Empower’s growth with Dubai’s wider sustainability objectives while creating long term value for stakeholders.

Empower’s Q1 2026 results signal resilience as the company scales production amid an active construction and real estate market in Dubai. The combination of expanding capacity, tighter cost control and continued demand for efficient cooling solutions underpinned the financial gains reported for the quarter and the trailing twelve month period.
