Etihad Airways announced today an increase in the number of its weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Jaipur, India, to 10 flights per week, starting December 15, 2024.
The carrier said, in a statement, that this increase, which comes less than four months after the launch of service to the Rajasthan region, confirms the popularity of this route.
For his part, Eric Dee, Chief Commercial and Revenue Officer at Etihad Airways, said: This expansion gives travelers from India an easy route to both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with seamless connections on our global network of destinations.
Guests traveling from Jaipur to the United States of America can benefit from the services of the US Customs and Border Protection facilities at Zayed International Airport, the only ones available in the Middle East, for guests to clear US immigration and customs procedures before boarding the plane.
The increase highlights Etihad’s strong commitment to the Indian market, as it increased capacity by more than a quarter over the past 12 months and recently celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the launch of its services to the Indian subcontinent.
Etihad Airways flights operate on Airbus A320 aircraft.
