Etihad Airways transported about 10.4 million passengers during the first seven months of this year, according to preliminary passenger traffic results for July 2024.
The carrier said in its monthly report issued yesterday that it transported 1.7 million passengers during last July, an increase of 33% year-on-year, compared to about 1.2 million passengers in July 2023, while the average seat occupancy rate increased from 88% in July 2023 to 89% in July 2024. Etihad Airways CEO Antonaldo Neves said that the number of operating aircraft had reached 93 at the end of last July, compared to 78 aircraft in July 2023, with the addition of 10 new destinations to the network compared to last year.
