The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al -Battaat Football Company Khalfan Al -Mufassari revealed that the first team coach, Iranian Farhad Majidi, has eliminated differences in the players’ room since he took over the team, which reflected the positive results during the recent period.
Al -Massafri told «Emirates Today»: “The soul has changed very significantly within the team, since the contract with coach Farhad Majidi, and there are no longer any crises between the players and the technical staff.”
He explained: «Before Farhad took the mission, there were many problems, because of the players’ desire to play in the basic formation, and the coach was not convinced of each other, and I had to intervene at the request of the coach and the players.
He added: “My task is not to interfere, whether in the technical or administrative aspects, but I was asked to do so, and since the arrival of the coach Majeedi, everything has changed, and I have not heard about one problem inside the dressing room, which confirms the change of the spirit and the general shape of the team, and that the coach has eliminated problems or crises between players or technical devices.”
Al -Battah had achieved a valuable victory over Al -Nasr with a clean goal in the 19th round of the ADNOC Professional League, so that the team made an important step towards the safety zone, while Al -Nasr fell to eighth, after suffering the fourth consecutive loss.
Al -Massafri added: “The departure from the two centers of landing by nine points is not enough to ensure that the championship remains,” noting that “the current center does not represent any pressure on the team, especially since there is a state of confidence that has become in the team.”
