Features of the newest aircraft joining the Emirates fleet


Emirates Airlines has received its first Airbus A350 aircraft, out of 65 A350 aircraft that will be delivered to the carrier over the next few years. Here are the most prominent features of the newest aircraft in the carrier’s fleet:

Emirates A350 aircraft are equipped with the new generation ice in-flight entertainment system, which provides a wide range of pioneering features designed to enhance the passenger experience, a cinema-quality display that delivers the best in-flight broadcast quality in 4K and 4K HDR, and ultra-responsive touch screens for smooth navigation. And a wide range of media – up to twice the current content capacity.

· High-performance Wi-Fi network. Emirates A350 aircraft feature the use of a new generation of high-performance antennas that will significantly improve in-flight connectivity by taking full advantage of ViaSat’s Xpress Global satellite network with continuous global connectivity across all Destinations, including trans-Arctic for flights to the Americas.

· New aerBlade curtains in all classes – electric curtains decorated with the distinctive Ghaf tree logo of Emirates Airlines, and these curtains are easy to open and close at the touch of a button.

· Wireless charging in Business Class. The charger is located on the side cocktail table, an area for providing complimentary snacks in Business Class.

· Buttons to communicate with service crew members via the entertainment system screen, and to view the meal menu and digital newspapers and magazines from all over the world via the entertainment system screen.

· Follow the scenes transmitted by 5 cameras installed in the aircraft’s exterior and an improved broadcast of the flight itinerary map., 60-watt USB Type-C charging in each seat, with the ability to pair two Bluetooth connections with personal headphones.
