Flydubai renews handling agreement at Saudi airports


Flydubai has signed an agreement with Saudi Ground Services Company, renewing its previous agreement for ground handling services at various airports in the Kingdom served by Flydubai.

In a statement yesterday, it said that both the Chief Commercial Officer of Flydubai, Hamad Obaidallah, and the Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Ground Services, Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Mazi, signed the three-year agreement.

Obaidullah said that signing the agreement reflects the long-standing and solid relations between flydubai and its strategic partners in the Saudi market, as it is one of the most important markets for the carrier, stressing flydubai’s commitment to providing the highest standards of service to its customers in the Kingdom, and facilitating the flow of trade and tourism between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

For his part, Mazzi said that the strategic partnership between Flydubai and Saudi Ground Services Company is witnessing a new qualitative shift through the renewal of the agreement to serve Flydubai flights at the Kingdom’s airports, pointing out that Flydubai represents a fundamental pillar of the Saudi Ground Services Company’s balance of customers and strategic partners, and is a continuation of its development projects, programs, and distinguished services, and its vital role in upgrading the airport services system in the Kingdom according to the highest international standards.

It is noteworthy that flydubai operates regular flights from its operational hub at Dubai International Airport to a number of destinations in Saudi Arabia, such as Riyadh, Al Ula, Neom, the Red Sea, Jeddah, Dammam and others, and provides travelers with various options to travel to Dubai and beyond.
