Fujairah is ready for the “amateurs”… and the match against Hatta is very important


Fujairah Club’s first team supervisor, Ahmed Ismail, confirmed that his team is now ready to compete in the first division league, which will start next Sunday, as Fujairah will play an important match with its host, Hatta, at Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium, for the first round.

Ahmed Ismail told Al-Emarat Al-Youm: “It will be a strong and important match for both teams, as it is the start of the season, and also because both Fujairah and Hatta are candidates to compete for the league title in the new season.” He continued: “We are ready for the league after the conclusion of the preparations that culminated in an external training camp in Turkey, during which the team played three friendly matches.”

Regarding the most prominent contracts, the Fujairah team supervisor revealed the signing of player Hamad Mohammed from Al Arabi, Abdulrahman Jumaa Rabie from Sharjah, and Abdulrahman Ahmed from Gulf FC, in addition to signing Senegalese defender Prince, Algerian of French origin Sando Ben Bashir, who plays in the attacking line, and French midfielder Ben Kerkour. He stressed: “Our goal is to achieve victory in the first match, as victory gives us morale at the beginning of the competition.”
