“His Highness the Ruler of Dubai’s Court Race” for elite riders today

Under the patronage and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, today, organized by the Private Office of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai, the “Court of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai Race” for the elite category of men will be held, which will be held within the activities of the tournament. The ninth Ladder Cycling Championship, the largest of its kind for community races in the world in terms of diversity and financial prizes.

The race starts in front of the building of the Court of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai, in the historic Al Fahidi neighbourhood, for a distance of 193 km, passing through a group of Dubai’s most prominent landmarks, including: the old Dubai Customs building, the Ministry of Defence, the Dubai Creek area, Al Saif Street, the Creek Park, and Mohammed bin Rashid University. The Supreme Organizing Committee has completed all arrangements, headed by Omair bin Juma Al Falasi, Director General of the Private Office of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Supreme Committee, in order to hold the race according to the highest regulatory standards to ensure the safety of all participants, while seeking to highlight the inspiring historical and cultural face of the Emirate of Dubai.

Al Falasi stressed that “the start of the race from the vicinity of the Court building of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai comes in light of the great national importance of this edifice, which for decades has been a center for building the future of Dubai, making its people happy, and developing its economy and prosperity, as the Supreme Organizing Committee is always keen to highlight important national symbols and landmarks.” Through its races, last year we set off from the Shindagha area near the house of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum, which witnessed the beginnings of modern Dubai, passing through many important areas. The ninth session of the Ladder Championship was launched last December, with the holding of the “Sword of Honor” race to celebrate the occasion of the recent graduation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum from the Royal Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, and his award of the “Sword of Honor” for the international student category. And first place in academic and applied military studies, becoming the first Emirati graduate to obtain these two recognitions together.
