I have a title with Al -Jazeera in the first season of a good result

He continued: «We lost the services of Mohamed Rabie and Richard Akonor for a period of three months, so this number of absences has clearly contributed to the decline in the team’s performance and its distance from competition for the league title, which makes me confirm that winning the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup title is a good result, by winning a title in the season at the very least, and I see that there will be good preparations that make the team appear better in the next season.”

Hussein Amouta talked about the Al-Jazeera and Sharjah match, which ended in a draw (1-1), which was held the day before yesterday, and it was postponed from the 16th round, and he denied that the team has no incentive to play the ADNOC professional league matches because of its departure from the competition for the title, and he said: “I do not see that the team is playing matches without an incentive to achieve victory, and I confirm that there was a great desire from the technical staff and the players in achieving victory over Sharjah.

He continued: “We played well, and we scored the first goal, but we missed many opportunities to enhance our progress in the result.”

He continued: «At a time when we could add the second goal, we made a mistake before the end of the first half, and Sharjah scored the equalizer, and in the second half we continued to make opportunities and not exploit them, and we missed two chances before the end of the meeting and we did not take advantage of them in the right way, so the match ended in a draw, and not because there is no incentive for the team to win.

As for the start of Al -Jazeera preparations for the next season, the choice of the team’s destination regarding the preparation camp, the choices of the players and the possibility of making adjustments in the list of foreign players, he said: “So far we are waiting for the end of the season in order to take the right decisions in the interest of the club, so that it can compete for the titles next season.”
