Intensive participation of the Emirates Council for Gender Balance in the Global Women’s Forum – Dubai 2024


The Emirates Council for Gender Balance announced its expanded participation during the International Women’s Forum – Dubai 2024, which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on November 26 and 27, in Madinat Jumeirah. The session aims to highlight the UAE’s pioneering role in humanitarian work, highlight joint cooperation with the United Nations and its contributions to disaster response and relief, support initiatives to achieve gender balance, and enhance youth participation in humanitarian work.

Butterfly Foundation

The “Transforming Challenges into Opportunities” session, which is organized in cooperation with the Butterfly Foundation, seeks to highlight the special challenges facing women with disabilities in the field of work, and to review effective strategies aimed at helping companies and communities remove obstacles and provide equal opportunities for women in the workplace.

It is worth noting that the forum’s agenda will include more than 130 discussion sessions and workshops in which more than 250 officials, inspiring leaders, and influence makers from more than 65 countries will speak, with the participation of 25 ministers, male and female, and in the presence of 4,000 personalities from the region and the world.
